FOX has ordered a second season of Temptation Island

FOX has ordered a second season of Temptation Island, it was announced today by Gail Berman, President of Entertainment, FOX Broadcasting Company. No location, production date or airdate has been set.

"Temptation Island has proven to be compelling television," said Berman. "We're pleased it's such a hit with our viewers, and we're scouting locations for the next adventure."

Based on Nielsen's preliminary national numbers, last night's Temptation Island finale won its time period, was the evening's highest rated program, and posted its highest ratings performance ever against original competition in all key demos, including Adults 18-49 (9.6/22), Adults 18-34 (12.7/31) and Teens (9.3/30).

Premiere-to-date, Temptation Island has dominated its time period in all key measures, including Total Viewers and Adults 18-49, Adults 18-34 and Teens. The series is the #1 rated show this season among Adults 18-34. TEMPTATION ISLAND ranks among the Top 10 shows in every key demo: Adults 18-49 (#6), Adults 18-34 (#1) and Teens (#3).

Temptation Island, a dramatic, unscripted reality series, focused on four couples who traveled to a Caribbean paradise to test the strength of their relationships before making permanent commitments. Once on the island, they were individually matched up with eligible singles. Over the course of their stay, and through a series of challenges, they each had the opportunity to prove to one another -- and to themselves -- that they have chosen the right mate.
