McDonalds.com Redesign & User Experience, 2010

Working with upstart Brooklyn-based agency Fangohr and digital agency TBWA, I helped envision a first-generation, mobile-friendly navigation and layout experience for McDonalds‘ digital properties.

Two different approaches were used: the first, and ultimately more successful and impactful, relied on a large icon- and grid-based navigation, with familiar iconography representing various actions and elements one might be looking for at McDonalds.com. The second took a similar approach, though drawing from a more traditionally early-mobile dropdown menu navigation.

Other creative elements included an interactive timeline of various McDonalds-related memories.
