While at a science symposium hosted by master inventor Ron Popeil's head-in-a-jar, the Professor unveils his new invention, the Smelloscope. Initially criticized, the Smelloscope is redeemed when it locates a giant ball of putrid garbage speeding on a collision course with New New York. When the news goes public, the Professor goes to desperate lengths to thwart Armageddon and save fresh-smelling Earth.
