It's the night before Xmas (Christmas is no longer an acceptable word), and Leela and Fry are both feeling sad and lonely. Fry's selfish whining offends Leela, so he decides to buy her a nice gift to cheer her up. Meanwhile, Bender volunteers at the Liquor Kitchen for Homeless Robots in order to steal free booze.
Professor Farnsworth warns Fry not to stay out after dark because Santa is coming! Fry soon learns that Santa is a seven-foot robot with a programming glitch that makes him want to kill any "naughty" people out after dark on Xmas Eve. Naturally, Fry's out late and Leela finds him just as Santa arrives loaded with firepower. They flee and run into Bender and "Tinny Tim" on their way back to the Professor's. They barely make it inside, but Santa's attack continues. Amy, Hermes and Dr. Zoidberg join the fight and together the crew blows Santa sky high!
