After defeating a top-ranked robot in a movie theatre scuffle, Bender is recruited to join the brutal Ultimate Robot Fighting League. After a few surprising wins, Bender the Offender's newfound celebrity goes to his head and he starts ignoring his friends. Then he learns the hard truth--the most popular robot always wins, because the fights are fixed. When his popularity slips and he's asked to take a dive, Bender, under his new name "The Gender Bender," must risk his life to defend his honor. Now, when he needs his friends the most, they're reluctant to help. As Bender gets hammered in the ring, Leela discovers that his opponent, Destructor, is actually being remote controlled from backstage. She grabs the remote, causes Destructor to self-destruct and the crowd goes wild!
