After a brief encounter in a virtual universe chat room, Leela is enthralled with a fellow cyclops named Alkazar. When he emails her, giving her directions to her home planet of Cyclopia, Leela finally thinks she has a chance to connect to her past. Alkazar captivates Leela with the history - and destruction - of their species. He convinces Leela that it's up to them to repopulate the cyclops race. Leela agrees, but once they consummate their relationship, Alkazar turns into a male chauvinist cyclops, ordering Leela around. Because she feels a duty to save her species, she agrees to marry him, despite his oafish behavior. The day of their wedding, Fry and Bender discover that Alkazar has several other brides-to-be scattered about Cyclopia. In fact, Alkazar is really a disgusting alien! He tricked Leela and the others by disguising himself as various creatures and convincing the innocent brides that he was their species' last hope for survival.
