Sharing was a workplace comedy about the cohabitants of a shared office space, the most modern and identifiable of workspaces. Perhaps that’s better phrased as a…WeWorkplace comedy? (OK I know, I know, I apologize.)
The half-hour comedy pilot that I produced was purchased in 2015 by Jimmy Fallon‘s Eight Million Plus Productions to be aired on NBC, with the series cast to include regulars like Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Christine Taylor, Jerry Minor, and Stephen Schneider. The pilot was directed by Beth McCarthy-Miller of 30 Rock, SNL, and Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt fame. After being produced for pilot season, the run of the series was not picked up by NBC for the fall season, however.
Sniff, such is life. Double sadness.
