Mother's Day in the year 3000 is full of new traditions. Only robots celebrate this holiday and they honor Mom, the beloved human owner of Mom's Friendly Robot Company. This year, a bored and lonely Mom enlists the robots in a revolution to take over the world and make her Queen. Her plan includes reprogramming every robot to turn against their human masters at exactly the same moment by using a remote control she keeps hidden in her bra.

Mom's three sons devise a plan to thwart world destruction and approach the Professor to help. Seventy years ago, Mom and the Professor had a steamy love affair. Mom's sons believe that if the Professor can rekindle the romance he can also recover the remote control. The Professor agrees to give it try with a visit to Mom's remote country cabin in the Bronx.

With all robotic and electric appliances gone haywire, the crew has no transportation, so Fry "invents" the wheel and builds a cart. Once at the cabin, the Professor initially fights with Mom over who was at fault for their breakup. But the heated argument leads to passion and the Professor is so caught up in the sexy reunion, he forgets to deactivate the attacking robots. The entire Planet Express crew bursts in and scrambles to find Mom's bra, while the angry robots close in! When Bender shows up, bent on destruction, Mom must convince him to disobey her initial orders and help her in her time of need. With Bender's help, the robotic coup d'etat is put to a stop and world order is restored!
